Dr. Klaus Bosselmann is Professor of Law and Founding Director of the New Zealand Centre for Environmental Law at the University of Auckland. He has provided consultancy for the OECD, UN, EU, and the governments of Germany and New Zealand and was a delegate at the Earth Summits in Rio de Janeiro (1992 and 2012). He is Chair of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law Ethics Specialist Group and Co-chair of the Global Ecological Integrity Group.
Dr. Bosselmann has authored 15 books, edited or co-edited 14 books and written over 100 articles. For his pioneering work on ecological law he has received numerous awards including the Inaugural Senior Scholarship Prize of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law.
